Your tasks: • Together with your team, you will be responsible for the cost-efficient licensing of software used in the company (in particular Microsoft, Adobe, SAP).
• You will further develop software license management at both a strategic and operational level, using relevant tools such as SAM effectively.
• You are the point of contact for the manufacturers/vendors of the products used and advise application managers and employees on the use of software. You also contribute your expertise to our projects and work closely with our Central Purchasing and IT Controlling departments.
• You keep an eye on the market and continuously educate yourself on topics such as open source solutions, alternatives to established providers, software sourcing, and license models and metrics.
• You monitor and control the procurement and use of software. You prepare license balances and reports and assist with license assessments/measurements.
• You ensure license compliance and adherence to applicable guidelines.
Your profile: • Completed studies (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a similar field) or equivalent training
• Experience in SAM, inventory, and license management
Knowledge of licensing models of common software vendors
• Good written and spoken German and/or English
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with a high level of initiative
Strong communication skills, team spirit, assertiveness, and commitment
